Louis Vuitton has won it's trademark infringement fight with Google!
A court in Paris ruled that the famous Search Engine was guilty of tradement counterfeiting, unfair competition, and misleading advertising and ordered to pay up.
The suit stems from handbag manufacturer Louis Vuitton accusing Google of selling advertising on it's site (Ad-Sense)that used the name "Louis Vuitton" to trigger ads that were not for genuine Louis Vuitton bags.
Is this going to change the way Google handles it's advertising? I have heard through sources that this search engine will look at it's advertisers more closely but only time will tell if a new ad policy will be implemented.
