Teenage Handbag Designer Has a Worthy Cause

A new handbag designer from Georgia, eighteen-year-old Ali Spizman, has recently launched a line of handbags that is specifically geared toward teens. The handbag line is called "Hope" and are sold in Claire's (jewelry stores for teenagers usually found in malls) in the United States.

What makes these handbags so special is that for every bag sold, 10% is donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This organization helps to grant wishes for people diagnosed with serious illnesses and the "Hope" handbags have raised over $300,000 so far!

This bag line was named for Hope Stout who suffered from bone cancer and lost her brave battle on January 4, 2007. Please continue to support this important cause by purchasing a Hope handbag from your nearest Claire's.
