"Handbags By LaNelle" is the brainchild of Lynell, a talented painter and handbag designer from Arkansas. On moving from California to Arkansas in 2004, Lynell says that "something about this region stirred by creative juices and I began painting."
Not too long after this move, she was diagnosed with cancer and, after battling through chemotherapy and surgery, Lynell suddenly had an irrestible urge to start sewing. Painting and sewing seemed to come together for her and she has been combining the two ever since!
