Sew Happy Introduces "Smart Bags"

I ran across this website and found some really cute bag patterns! My favorite is the "Smart Bag" which has interchangeable outer covers AND handles - what a great concept!

The website owner is a very talented lady herself and I feel that if you are really into crafting, you need to bookmark her site and visit often. Here is Ronnie in her own words:

"I work two days per week locally as a secretary/ personal assistant / book keeper and have been a keen sewer, craftsperson for many years, probably since I was a kid when I learnt to knit from my Mother - who still knits madly today. In one of my past lives I owned a ceramic studio and have been involved in many crafts over the years, including porcelain dolls, folk art and all forms of sewing and embroidery.

I am now in my early 50's and looking to introducing Fabric Bowls, Boxes, Bags and other related crafts (using the Timtex stabliser and Fast2Fuse interfacing) into Australia. These products aren't readily available in Australia and since these crafts are the latest craze in America and have taken off like wild fire - I've taken on the task of importing these products, patterns and related books for all of us crafters to enjoy.

I am a quilter at heart these days and have made many lovely quilts (including one for each grandchild during 2005 for their recent Christmas present), but like all quilters, the fabric stash is growing and growing. Fabric bowls, boxes and bags is starting to alleviate the "stash" and gives me inspiring ideas for gifts for everyone.

Your creativity is limitless when it comes to making something new - every box, bowl or bag just has to be different from your own fabrics and your own tastes and ideas."
